The Addis Ababa City Administration’s Culture, Arts, and Tourism Bureau has been actively working alongside the private sector to strengthen the city’s tourism industry. A recent MICE tourism training program was organized by the bureau, with over 100 participants, including members of the Addis Ababa Hotels Association (AAHA). The training focused on MICE tourism development, opportunities, and challenges and was led by Dr. Efrem Assefa from Addis Ababa University.

According to Mrs. Frehiwot Gebremedhin, Director of Tourism Development and Promotion at the Addis Ababa Culture, Arts, and Tourism Bureau, the primary goal of the training was to:
